My name is Jill Pollock, a photographer from Calgary, Alberta!

       I have lived in Calgary my whole life, and I have always found beauty in this city. That being said, I have found beauty in many other places around the world in which some of my photos reflect. I have finally reached the point in my life where I am comfortable taking time in my photography and showing others my love for it. Through my many years of photographing, I have grown to understand that good photography- that in which truly captures simplistic beauty and captivates visual appeal to the eye- takes patience, repetition, creativity, and most of all it takes passion.

      I have always had a passion for photography, and I began by taking nature photos more than anything, and hope to expand my horizon! 

Photography is very special to me because even as a child it helped me open up my creative side, and learn that there is so much beauty in areas that not all can capture. For years I have been focussing on landscape photos, but learning what I have in my university photography courses, I have found new potential for different styles of photography.
